About Dr. Ridao
Dr. Richard Ridao was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from Kaimuki High School, he attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and then Pacific University in Oregon, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then enrolled in medical school at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Dr Ridao is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He is very interested in health and wellness and in the health benefits of exercise and weight management. He also strongly believes in the maxims "Laughter is the best medicine" and "Exercise IS medicine!". In addition to caring for usual adult medical problems, Dr. Ridao enjoys helping provide acute and urgent care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Ridao enjoys sports, especially Triathlons. He has completed several Half-Ironman triathlons (even though he is always one of the slower finishers). He also loves dancing, listening to music, watching comedies, and viewing Viking shows on Netflix and Prime.
